Peter Jones has been named to the Daily Journal’s “40 Under 40” list. Pete is a partner in S&C’s Palo Alto office who has served as co-lead counsel on some of the biggest and most complex tech deals in recent years, including the $113 billion merger of xAI and X; Elon Musk’s $44 billion acquisition of Twitter; Ansys’ $35 billion sale to Synopsys; and Splunk’s $28 billion acquisition by Cisco Systems. Pete also advises Tesla Inc. on corporate and securities law matters as part of the S&C team that acts as Tesla’s principal outside counsel.
"Almost all of the deals that we work on are highly complex and implicate unique issues – that's what makes our practice so rewarding," Pete told the Daily Journal.
