Jeff is Co-Head of the Firm’s Securities Litigation Practice. He is a nationally recognized civil litigator who has secured significant successes for clients in a wide range of areas, including as a first-chair trial lawyer and in high-profile regulatory and enforcement matters. Jeff’s recent representations include winning the first insider-trading trial in Delaware Chancery Court for Rock Holdings; obtaining dismissals of three securities lawsuits against Barclays targeting a $17 billion over-issuance; obtaining reversal in an RMBS case against Barclays Bank; and defeating class certification in a stockholder action against Rocket Companies and Rock Holdings.

His recent matters include winning a Supreme Court ruling on standing for Diamond Alternative Energy; successfully challenging the FCC’s “Net Neutrality” rules on behalf of the broadband industry; invalidating a $650 million award in the landmark bellwether opioid litigation; and defeating multibillion-dollar claims for Canadian Pacific.
