S&C has been shortlisted for Financial Times’ “Innovative Lawyers in Dealmaking” Europe Award for advising Bosch in its $8 billion acquisition of residential and light commercial HVAC business from Johnson Controls and Hitachi. The deal is the largest and most complex transaction in Bosch’s 140-year history and required challenging multiparty negotiations on M&A, carve-out and IP issues, designing and negotiating tailor-made parameters that allowed three leading international strategic companies to agree on a joint transaction.
The team leading the transaction includes Carsten Berrar, Scott Crofton, Frank Aquila, Konstantin Technau and Stephan Rauch.
