S&C’s Restructuring and Bankruptcy Litigation Practices were recognized across the Firm’s New York, London, Sydney, Frankfurt and Hong Kong offices in Global Restructuring Review’s 2024 GRR 100 rankings.

S&C was recognized for earning approval for the $14+ billion Chapter 11 reorganization plan of FTX Trading’s historic bankruptcy filing and for advising SVB Financial Group, the former parent company of Silicon Valley Bank, in its Chapter 11 proceedings and guiding it through its successful reorganization plan, which earned approval in August 2024.
GRR also recognized S&C for advising Barclays Bank PLC in the Chapter 11 proceeding of Cineworld Group plc, the world’s second-largest cinema operator and owner of Regal Entertainment; BHP Brazil in Samarco Mineração’s successful reorganization, accomplished through a judicial proceeding in Brazil and Chapter 15 proceeding in the United States; and Deerfield Management as the largest holder of second lien notes in the Chapter 11 cases of Mallinckrodt.
