S&C advised issuers on three capital markets transactions recognized at the KangaNews Awards 2025, including being named:
- “Australian-Origin Offshore Corporate Bond Deal of the Year” for advising Woodside Finance on its SEC-registered debt offering of $3.5 billion of fixed-rate notes. The S&C team consisted of Wally Jones, Ben Fleming and Jin Lee.
- “Australian-Origin Offshore Financial Institution Bond Deal of the Year” for advising Commonwealth Bank of Australia on its offering of $5 billion notes. The S&C team consisted of Wally Jones, Connor Schillerstrom, Paul Rota and Michelle Thiry.
The awards honor the most impressive institutions and transactions of 2025, based on detailed polling of issuers, investors and intermediaries active in the Australian and New Zealand debt markets.
