GCR 100 is a comprehensive listing of the world’s leading competition practices, providing a quantitative and qualitative analysis of the law firms doing the most important antitrust work around the world.
S&C was ranked “Highly Recommended” in New York and Washington, D.C., earning recognition for guiding Discover in obtaining clearance for its $50.6 billion merger with Capital One; Nippon Steel in its $15 billion acquisition of US Steel; and Harvard University in winning the dismissal of a multidefendant antitrust suit challenging the Ivy League’s seventy-year policy of only offering need-based aid.
S&C was also ranked “Recommended” in the United Kingdom and Brussels. GCR highlighted the Firm’s representation of CarUX on its $1.1 billion acquisition of Pioneer Corporation; Merck KGaA on its $3.9 billion acquisition of SpringWorks Therapeutics; and Baxter on its $3.71 billion sale of its kidney care business to Carlyle, which involved merger control, FDI and FSR filings across more than 30 jurisdictions.
