S&C advised on two capital markets transactions recognized by the London Stock Exchange Group’s DealWatch Awards 2024:
- “IPO of the Year” – S&C represented Toshiba Corporation, as selling shareholder, in Kioxia Holdings Corporation’s approximately JPY 120.4 billion (approximately $783 million) initial public offering. The S&C team consisted of Keiji Hatano, Nirav Mehta and Eric Ressler.
- “Offshore Bond of the Year” – S&C advised Rakuten Group, a Japanese e-commerce, internet services, fintech and mobile telecommunications company, in a $500 million offering of 8.125% Undated Subordinated NC5 Fixed-Rate Reset Notes. The S&C team consisted of Keiji Hatano, Nirav Mehta, Xiaoyu Duan and Shihui Xiang.
