Melissa Sawyer, Global Head of Sullivan & Cromwell’s Mergers & Acquisitions Group and co-head of the Firm’s Corporate Governance Practice, has been elected to the American College of Governance Counsel 2024 Class of Fellows.
The American College of Governance Counsel a professional, educational and honorary association organized to promote a high level of professional standards for those engaged in the governance practice along with a better understanding and broader adoption of best governance practices. New members are elected based on their knowledge and professionalism in corporate governance, as well as their commitment to advancing governance practice through both professional and thought leadership activities.
Melissa is one of just 21 new members elected to the College’s 2024 Class of Fellows. She joins S&C’s Rodge Cohen, who is a Founding Trustee of the College.
