Renata Hesse, Co-Head of S&C’s Antitrust Group, was again named to the Daily Journal’s “Top Women Lawyers” list, which honors excellent lawyering and leadership skills among women attorneys in California.
Renata was recognized for her work on transformative transactions, including assisting Amgen on U.S. antitrust matters in its $27.8 billion acquisition of Horizon Therapeutics and advising Seagen on Pfizer’s $43 billion acquisition of the biotech innovator in the largest-ever all-cash acquisition in the biopharmaceutical industry. “These types of transactions are exciting to work on because they have the potential to change people’s lives,” noted Renata.
