Morgan Ratner, a partner in S&C’s Litigation Group and member of the Firm’s Supreme Court and Appellate Practice, was shortlisted for “Young Lawyer of the Year—Litigation” by The American Lawyer.
Morgan advises clients on a range of high-stakes appellate issues and has argued nine times before the U.S. Supreme Court. She helped obtain a unanimous Supreme Court ruling this February for Great Lakes Insurance in a maritime insurance case and helped Goldman Sachs obtain the reversal of class certification last August in a $13 billion securities case.
She recently delivered oral argument for the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, Volkswagen, Spirit AeroSystems and Duke Energy. She is a natural mentor committed to supporting junior associates and has advocated for and supervised early oral argument opportunities for more junior women.
The winners will be announced at The American Lawyer’s event on November 13 in New York City.
