Nicholas Menillo has been named a Law360 “Rising Star” for Insurance —one of five Sullivan & Cromwell partners selected in 2023 out of more than 1,300 submissions. He was selected for his work negotiating with insurers to fully fund a $237.5 million shareholder derivative settlement for Boeing directors related to the 737 Max aircraft and advising both Silicon Valley Bank's parent company and FTX on insurance matters.
Nick enjoys the complexity of simultaneously managing multiple high-stakes cases at different stages of litigation. "You have all those simultaneous cases that are related to the same underlying issues and legal issues. You need to be coordinated and to think about what's going on in this one case that we can use to our clients' benefit in another case," he said.
