Melissa Sawyer has been elected to The American Law Institute, the leading independent organization in the United States producing scholarly work to clarify, modernize and improve the law.
Melissa Sawyer is the Global Head of S&C’s Mergers & Acquisitions Group and Co-Head of the Firm’s Corporate Governance Practice. In addition to advising clients on public and private M&A transactions, joint ventures and strategic alliances, she regularly advises clients on corporate governance, activism and takeover defense matters. Her work spans multiple industries, including consumer and retail, TMT, technology, industrials and life sciences.
