Lauren Boehmke and Dustin Guzior have been named to Bloomberg Law’s “They’ve Got Next: The 40 Under 40” report highlighting the top 40 young lawyers across the country at firms, companies and nonprofit organizations.
Lauren Boehmke is a partner in the Firm’s General Practice Group. She advises clients on corporate and transactional matters, including public and private M&A, activism and takeover defense and other public company advisory matters. Lauren has played a key role in some of S&C’s biggest and most significant M&A matters of recent years, including AT&T’s spin-off of WarnerMedia into Discovery. She also advises boards, general counsels and other c-suite executives on corporate governance matters.
Dustin Guzior is co-head of S&C’s Intellectual Property & Technology Litigation practice. His practice focuses on trials and hearings, often involving intellectual property, technology, antitrust or complex commercial disputes. Dustin served as co-lead trial counsel for Ocado Group, a leader in software and robotics for retail businesses, in its complete defense victory against AutoStore in an ITC trial involving patent infringement and antitrust claims. He also served as co-lead trial counsel for Columbia University in its victory in a major patent infringement case against NortonLifeLock. A federal jury unanimously found that Norton willfully infringed two Columbia patents and awarded $185 million in base damages, which may be trebled for the willful infringement.
