SoftBank’s monetization of its stake in T-Mobile won “Most Innovative Deal of the Year.” The multi-national, multi-disciplinary S&C team representing SoftBank was led by Robert DeLaMater in New York and Sarah Payne in Palo Alto, and it included attorneys in our capital markets, credit & leveraged finance, financial services, litigation, securities litigation and tax practices.
Salesforce’s acquisition of messaging pioneer Slack won “Technology, Media & Telecom Deal of the Year.” S&C advised Goldman Sachs, which acted as financial adviser to Slack. The S&C team was led by John Savva.
Intercontinental Exchange’s acquisition of Ellie Mae won “Private Equity Deal of the Year.” Cathy Clarkin advised Intercontinental Exchange on its securities offerings and disclosure-related matters.
Warburg-backed Allied Universal Security’s acquisition of G4S won “Cross-Border Deal of the Year.” S&C advised J. Safra Group, an existing shareholder of Allied Universal Topco. The S&C team included Jeremy Kutner and Joseph Hearn.
WillScot’s acquisition of Mobile Mini won “Energy & Industrials Deal of the Year.” S&C advised Barclays Capital and Goldman Sachs as financial advisers to Mobile Mini. The S&C team was led by Alison Ressler.
