S&C Co-Chair Robert Giuffra discussed the biggest challenges facing the legal profession in 2026 with Bloomberg Law. He noted that the practice of law has shifted since his time as an associate, and emphasized the importance of broad training for the next generation of lawyers. “We as a law firm are against specialization. We encourage generalists,” he said. “I think our recruiting reflects that, because a lot of younger lawyers … don’t want to be pigeonholed.”
