Jay Clayton, Senior Policy Advisor and Of Counsel to S&C and former Chair of the Securities and Exchange Commission, joined the All Else Equal: Making Better Decisions podcast to discuss regulation in the financial services sector and how it benefits market participants and the industry as a whole.
“There was a lot of good that came out of Dodd-Frank and a lot of the good came out of unintended consequences,” Jay said, noting that the market response to the legislation resulted in more competitive and diversified credit markets.
All Else Equal is a co-production of the Lauder Institute and the Stanford Graduate School of Business. Hosted by Lauder Institute Director and Wharton School finance professor Jules van Binsbergen, alongside Stanford Graduate School of Business finance professor Jonathan Berk, the podcast delves into decision-making strategies that shape both success and failure at corporate and institutional levels.
