The launch of S&C’s National Security Practice comes at a time of heightened focus and emphasis by the U.S. government on the national security implications of a range of business activities.
Nicky Friedlander, Co-Head of the National Security Practice, discussed the new practice group with Bloomberg Law. “We have been seeing in recent years much greater emphasis both on the regulatory and enforcement side on national security,” she said. “The government’s view of what [national security] is has been expanding.”
