S&C recently announced the formalization of our AI practice to better support clients looking for counsel on the rapid development, adoption and commercialization of generative AI. In an interview with The American Lawyer, AI Practice Co-Head Nader Mousavi noted that though the Firm has been working on AI matters for nearly a decade, the decision was made to formalize the practice now in response to increasing client needs in this area.
“Clients need to make decisions around AI, and they are looking to integrate all of the relevant considerations and enable themselves to make informed business decisions, take advantage of opportunities and have their eyes opened to risks,” Nader said. S&C’s globally integrated, cross-practice approach helps clients think through these complex issues from all angles.
In addition to Nader, S&C’s AI Practice is led by partners Mehdi Ansari and Presley Warner. Nader and Mehdi are also Co-Heads of the Firm’s Intellectual Property and Technology Group, while Presley is Head of S&C’s European Credit and Leveraged Finance Practice.
