Following a banner year for M&A, the frenzy of dealmaking is projected to continue, with continued growth in crypto/blockchain-related acquisitions. “We are seeing a significant amount of interest in this area not only from existing players in the crypto market, but also traditional financial services organizations and well-established private equity and other investors,” he said. “These companies now realize that as an asset class crypto is here to stay, in some form or another. And that they have some catching up to do.”
