Bell Canada completed an SEC-registered offering of $650 million Senior Notes Series US-11 due 2055 and a concurrent offering in Canada of C$900 million MTN Debentures Series M 69 due 2036 and C$700 million MTN Debentures Series M-70 due 2056.
Concurrently with the offerings, Bell Canada completed U.S. cash tender offers to purchase $877.6 million of outstanding debt securities and Canadian cash tender offers to purchase up to C$3.8 billion of outstanding debt securities. The U.S. tender offers were made in accordance with the SEC’s no-action letter relating to five-day debt tender offers.
