e& has agreed to sell its stake in Vodafone Group to Vega, an acquisition vehicle owned by the Niel family group, for $5.95 billion. The sale covers e&’s 16.21 percent shareholding in Vodafone and represents a 13 percent premium to Vodafone’s market price.
S&C previously advised e& on its initial $4.4 billion investment in Vodafone in 2022, when e& acquired a 9.8 percent stake and became Vodafone’s largest shareholder.
