Intercontinental Exchange announced a definitive agreement to acquire MarketAxess Holdings for a total enterprise value of approximately $5.7 billion.
The acquisition will unite two complementary platforms in global fixed income, connecting institutional and retail investors through one integrated fixed income ecosystem spanning execution, data, indices and analytics.
