S&C advised Decarbonization Partners, a joint venture between BlackRock and Temasek focused on late-stage venture capital and early growth private equity investing in next-generation companies, in its agreement to lead the Series C funding round of osapiens, a leading provider of enterprise software for sustainable growth, based in Mannheim, Germany. The $100 million financing round makes osapiens Germany’s first start-up to reach unicorn status in 2026.
Existing investors of the company include Goldman Sachs Alternatives and Armira, a German small- and mid-cap private equity firm.
osapiens will use the proceeds from the investment to accelerate product innovation and fuel growth in existing and new international markets.
The cross-office S&C team was led by partners Tyler Hill and Florian Späth and included associates John Friess and Johanna Bierlein.
