Sichuan Kelun-Biotech Biopharmaceutical completed a HK$2.723 billion ($350 million) shares offering on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange.
The placing was executed on a rare T+2 settlement timetable, instead of the conventional T+5 settlement timetable for placings of Hong Kong-listed companies, significantly accelerating settlement and mitigating risks associated with market volatility during the settlement period.
Kelun-Biotech is a biopharmaceutical company that focuses on the research and development, manufacturing, commercialization of and global collaboration of innovative biological drugs and small molecule drugs.
S&C previously acted as legal adviser to the joint sponsors and underwriters on Kelun-Biotech’s initial public offering and listing on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange.
