Saronic Technologies announced it has reached initial closing of its $1.75 billion Series D preferred stock funding round, which valued the company at $9.25 billion. The funding round was led by Kleiner Perkins.
Saronic is a leading autonomous maritime technology company, developing and deploying advanced autonomous surface vessels and supporting software systems for defense and commercial applications. Saronic intends to use the funding to expand its shipbuilding enterprise and scale production of its portfolio of autonomous surface vessels and AI-driven maritime capabilities.
