Lazard has agreed to acquire Campbell Lutyens, a leading global private capital advisor focused on fund placement, secondary advisory and GP capital advisory services for $575 million, with potential additional consideration of up to $85 million.
The transaction will combine Lazard’s private capital advisory business with Campbell Lutyens to form “Lazard CL,” a scaled global platform across fundraising, secondary advisory and GP capital advisory, with more than 280 advisory professionals across 18 offices worldwide.
The S&C team advising Lazard on corporate matters includes Ben Perry, Keith Pagnani, Rob Kearns, Natasha Rarity, Tarek Moghabghab and Yeonjoo Ban, working together with teams advising on antitrust matters, led by Juan Rodriguez; financial regulation matters, led by Barney Reynolds, Azad Ali and Nicholas Jin; securities matters, led by Cathy Clarkin; tax matters, led by Ian Ferreira, Tessa Lee and Davis Wang; and executive compensation matters, led by Heather Coleman.
