In its first bond issuance made in international markets, Tokyo Stock Exchange-listed SoftBank Corp. completed a $1 billion notes offering, consisting of $500 million of 4.699% senior notes due 2030 and $500 million 5.332% senior notes due 2035. The notes are listed on the Singapore Stock Exchange.
S&C represented the initial purchasers, led by Morgan Stanley & Co., Citigroup Global Markets, J.P. Morgan Securities, Mizuho Securities USA and SMBC Nikko Securities America. S&C has previously represented SoftBank in its initial public offering in 2018 and its international offering of common stock in 2020, as well as in connection with offerings of “bond-type” class shares in Japan in 2023 and 2024.
SoftBank is one of Japan’s largest telecommunications providers.
