Bell Canada completed an SEC-registered offering of $2.25 billion junior subordinated notes, which marked Bell Canada’s first junior subordinated notes offering. The offering consisted of $1 billion of 6.875% Fixed-to-Fixed Rate Junior Subordinated Notes, Series A due 2055, and $1.25 billion of 7% Fixed-to-Fixed Rate Junior Subordinated Notes, Series B due 2055.
Bell is Canada’s largest communications company based on total revenue and total combined customer connections providing advanced broadband Internet, wireless, TV, media and business communication services. Founded in Montréal in 1880, Bell is wholly owned by BCE Inc.
