On June 13, S&C represented Legends Hospitality, a global venue services company, in connection with a three-year non-prosecution agreement with the U.S. Department of Justice’s Antitrust Division related to Legends’ involvement in the bidding process to develop, manage and operate the Moody Center, a $338 million arena at the University of Texas at Austin. Specifically, Legends agreed to pay a $1.5 million penalty and to cooperate with ongoing DOJ investigations relating to potential violations of the antitrust laws. The Antitrust Division will not bring criminal or civil charges against Legends, its affiliates, or any of their current or former officers, directors, managers, employees, or investors, involving any conduct disclosed by Legends.
The S&C team representing Legends included Jamie McDonald, Kyle Mach, Melissa Winner, Michael Hamilton and Jake Ciafone.
