S&C successfully represented the Office of the Commissioner of Major League Baseball (MLB) and a number of MLB clubs in the Chapter 11 proceedings of Diamond Sports Group LLC and its affiliates, where a plan of reorganization was confirmed on November 14 after nearly 20 months in bankruptcy. S&C’s representation included winning a two-day trial on telecast rights agreements, securing a substantial adequate protection package and aiding in the renegotiation of several telecast rights agreements.
The S&C team advising MLB included Jim Bromley, Alexa Kranzley, Ben Walker, Christian Jensen, David Rosenthal, Daniel Fradin and Katy Beeson.
