Collectors Universe, a leading provider of authentication, grading and collection management services, completed its previously announced transactions with eBay, which include the sale of Goldin Auctions to eBay and acquisition of eBay’s vault business, a physical storage facility for graded trading cards.
Along with the transactions, eBay and Professional Sports Authenticator (PSA), a leading third party authentication and grading provider owned by Collectors, have agreed to launch a new offering that will support streamlined buying, grading, storing and selling for collectors of all types. The partnership will combine eBay's marketplace platform with PSA’s expert grading services and vault product.
Goldin is an industry-leading sports auction house that auctions sports cards, autographed memorabilia, game-used items and other collectibles.
