Funds advised by Apax Partners, the global private equity house, and Fremman Capital announced that they have agreed to acquire co-controlling stakes of Palex Medical, a provider of medical technology equipment and solutions in Southern Europe.
Apax Partners, a leading global private equity firm, will acquire its stake in Palex from funds advised by Fremman, which is the current majority shareholder, as well as Palex management and other minority shareholders.
Palex services public and private hospitals and laboratories in Spain, Portugal and Italy and offers a product portfolio of over 150,000 product references from more than 600 manufacturers.
