ConsenSys Software, an industry-leading blockchain software company, completed an investment by Samsung Venture Investment Corporation valuing ConsenSys at more than $7 billion.
S&C advised on the formation of ConsenSys Software in August 2020, with ConsenSys AG contributing its blockchain technology solutions business and J.P. Morgan contributing its Quorum intellectual property assets. The Firm also advised on earlier financings, including a $200 million Series C round in November 2021 and a $454 million Series D round in March 2022.
