Chubb Limited announced that it is acquiring the personal accident, supplemental health and life insurance business of Cigna group in Korea (Lina Life) and six other Asia-Pacific markets (Taiwan, New Zealand, Thailand, Hong Kong, Indonesia and Turkey) for $5.75 billion. Chubb is the world’s largest publicly traded property and casualty insurance company. The deal was announced October 7.
