Adecco has agreed to acquire approximately 60 percent of the outstanding share capital of Akka Technologies, a global leader in engineering research and development (ER&D), in a transaction valued at €2 billion (for 100% of Akka Technologies).
Switzerland-based Adecco will combine Belgium-based Akka with its own company Modis to create the second largest ER&D company in the world, with 50,000 engineers and digital experts providing comprehensive IT, engineering and digital services.
