Becton, Dickinson and Company, a manufacturer of medical supplies and devices, completed underwritten public offerings of $1,000,000,000 principal amount of its floating rate notes due 2020 and €300,000,000 principal amount of its 0.368% notes due 2019, which closed on March 1 and February 22 respectively. The proceeds from the offerings will be used by Becton Dickinson to repay $1,366,000,000 principal amount outstanding under its credit facilities.
S&C represented the underwriters in both offerings. Underwriters were led by Barclays Capital Inc. and Wells Fargo Securities, LLC in the FRN offering. Barclays Bank PLC was the sole underwriter in the Euro offering.
