S&C client The Bank of New York Mellon Corporation completed a registered offering of $1.15 billion aggregate principal amount of fixed rate senior notes under its senior medium-term note program. The senior notes offering included $750 million aggregate principal amount of 3.450% fixed rate senior notes due 2023 and $400 million aggregate principal amount of 3.850% fixed rate senior notes due 2028, which represented a further issuance of the $500 million aggregate principal amount of BNY Mellon’s 3.850% senior notes due 2028 issued on April 30.
