    Eric Kadel and Zachary Goldman will speak at the American Conference Institute’s Economic Sanctions Enforcement and Compliance Conference, joining senior compliance executives from across finance, law and global trade. The conference, to be held in Washington, D.C. from April 29 to 30, will examine the rapidly evolving sanctions landscape, highlight benchmark best practices and feature discussions with key government and enforcement officials.

    April 29: Stablecoins Under the GENIUS Act: Critical Compliance Needs for Financial Institutions

    Zachary Goldman, a partner in S&C’s Financial Services Group and National Security Practice, will join the panel “Stablecoins Under the GENIUS Act: Critical Compliance Needs for Financial Institutions.” Zachary’s panel will discuss key AML and sanctions risk management considerations for stablecoin issuers and custodians as they move into businesses enabled by the adoption of the GENIUS Act.

    April 30: CHINA: Predicting and Preparing for the Next Wave of Tariffs, Tech Controls, and High-Risk Sanctions Challenges

    Eric Kadel, Co-Head of S&C’s Economic Sanctions and Financial Crime Group, will join the panel “CHINA: Predicting and Preparing for the Next Wave of Tariffs, Tech Controls, and High-Risk Sanctions Challenges.” Eric’s panel will explore topics including identifying organized crime risks in China, key considerations for the energy sector and its cross-industry impact, the evolving relationship between China and Russia, and implications of the Comprehensive Outbound Investment National Security (COINS) Act.
