Charles Gray, a partner in S&C’s Financial Services Group, spoke on the panel “The Effects of Regulatory Reform” at the Institute for Law and Finance’s 13th Annual Conference on the Future of the Financial Sector on January 24 at Goethe University in Frankfurt. The panel discussed the effects of Basel III and other bank regulatory reforms in contributing to the growth of non-bank financial intermediation channels such as private credit.
The conference gathered global leaders from across the financial services industry to discuss the factors contributing to bank disintermediation and its consequences.
