Sergio Galvis spoke at “Deals, Disruptions and Growth Areas in the Americas,” a conference jointly hosted by the International Bar Association’s Latin American and North American Regional Forums. The conference, which took place in Miami from Dec. 6-8, brought together leading international lawyers active in the Americas to discuss the latest trends affecting dealmaking in North America and Latin America. Sergio’s panel, “M&A in the Americas: Which Sectors Hold the Most Promise?”, aimed to outline what sectors and deal trends have driven the growth in M&A activity in the Americas over the last year, and also reviewed how new investment structures such as SPACs may impact the M&A landscape going forward. The role of ESG considerations in driving M&A activity in particular sectors was also discussed. To learn more about this event, click here.
