Litigation partner Nic Bourtin was a featured speaker at the September 15 Sandpiper Partners panel “Hot Trends in DOJ and SEC Enforcement & Litigation.” The event featured speakers from the SEC, DOJ and U.S. Attorney’s Offices, as well as lawyers in private practice. Panelists discussed trends and recent developments in SEC and DOJ white-collar enforcement, including enforcement priorities, the role of whistleblowers in investigations, and the impact of COVID-19 on white-collar investigations, hearings and trials.
