Laura Oswell spoke at Stanford Law School’s
25th annual Directors’ College, a program for directors and senior executives of publicly traded firms that covers a broad range of issues currently facing modern boards.
On June 25, Laura took part in the breakout discussion, “
Responding to Government Investigations,” which explored trends in investigations of corporate misconduct, the current policy for
Foreign Corrupt Practices Act cases and the Securities and Exchange Commission’s bounty program, among other topics. Later that same day, Nader discussed the Board’s role in overseeing
intellectual property strategy in the breakout session, “
The Board’s Role in Patent and IP Strategy.”
