PLI’s One-Hour Briefing on Mandatory Arbitration Agreements in the Wake of #MeToo

On July 31, Tracy Richelle High and Ann-Elizabeth Ostrager led a PLI One-Hour Briefing titled, “Mandatory Arbitration Agreements in the Wake of the #MeToo Movement.” In this live webcast, Tracy and Annie discussed Supreme Court decisions upholding the enforcement of arbitration agreements, their increased use in employment contracts, and what this trend means in the post-#MeToo legal landscape. They also focused on state and federal litigation regarding arbitration agreements, as well as the Federal Arbitration Act and its preemptive effects.
