On October 25, S&C hosted its seventh annual corporate conference in Hong Kong at the China Club, which was well-received by about 90 attendees. The conference covered topics including “Corporate Finance Update - What the Hong Kong Stock Exchange and Securities and Futures Commission have been up to?” by Kay Ian Ng and Melaney Sy; “China Outbound M&A - National security regulation on outbound China M&A deals in U.S., Germany and France” by Frank Aquila and Ching-Yang Lin; “Litigation Update - Recent developments in M&A disputes and stock-drop cases” by Brendan Cullen and Garth Bray; and “A Changing World - Project Finance: Old meets new financing sources” by Jamieson Logie and Jonathan Hannah. The conference was followed by a cocktail reception at the China Club Library.
