On November 16, as chair of the Federal Regulation of Securities Committee of the ABA’s Business Law Section, Robert Buckholz conducted the traditional interview-style “Dialogue with the Director” with Bill Hinman, director of the SEC’s Division of Corporation Finance, at the Section’s Fall Meeting in Washington, D.C. The dialogue covered the Division’s current activities and priorities, including developing disclosure issues, as well as the current rulemaking agenda and recent and anticipated staff guidance on various topics. At the Fed Reg Committee Luncheon later that day, Robert moderated a Q&A session and gave his Capitol Hill perspective on financial services matters addressed in the current Congress and the outlook following the midterm elections.
