Eric Wang concentrates in U.S. tax matters and advises on a broad range of planning and transactional matters for both U.S. and non-U.S. clients. He has advised extensively on structuring cross-border investments, including structuring a number of investments made by private equity and other investors in a wide variety of real estate and infrastructure-related projects worldwide. He also advises on U.S. tax issues relating to tax structured financing, acquisitions and joint ventures, debt restructuring and financial instruments. In addition, Mr. Wang has represented clients with respect to IRS audits and investigations.
Clients that he has advised recently include the Goldman Sachs’ Whitehall Funds, Citigroup, Rio Tinto, Rhône Capital, Silver Lake and The PMI Group, Inc.
Mr. Wang was elected a partner of the Firm in October 2009, effective January 1, 2010.
