Benjamin Stapleton joined Sullivan & Cromwell in 1969 and has been a partner since 1977. He has been a member of the Firm's Mergers & Acquisitions Group since 1978 and is the senior partner in that group. He has participated in dozens of transactions during that period and represented bidders, targets and financial advisors in both friendly and contested situations. Mr. Stapleton is also a member of the Firm's Diversity Committee.
