Hydee R. Feldstein is a partner in the Firm’s General Practice Group. She regularly represents investment banks, financial institutions, funds and other lenders in the areas of strategic, corporate and commercial finance, creditors’ rights, workouts and bankruptcies.
Ms. Feldstein has substantial experience in representing borrowers as well as lenders in structuring and documenting senior secured, second lien, unsecured and subordinated financings and bridge loans in connection with strategic corporate transactions, including acquisitions, mergers, recapitalizations, private placements, restructurings and debtor in possession and exit facilities.
Ms. Feldstein also regularly advises clients on corporate governance and fiduciary issues in insolvency-related restructurings.
Ms. Feldstein is fluent in Spanish and proficient in French.

- The board of directors of The Bear Stearns Companies in its sale to JPMorgan Chase (announced March 2008)
- Lehman Brothers in connection with its restructuring efforts prior to its bankruptcy and, thereafter, counsel to Barclays in the purchase of Lehman Brothers’ North American investment banking and capital markets operations and supporting infrastructure from the debtor in possession (September 2008)
- JPMorgan Chase in its acquisition of all deposits, assets and certain liabilities of Washington Mutual’s banking operations from the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation as well as the related transactions (September 2008)
- InBev in its financing for the acquisition of Anheuser-Busch (November 2008)
- Cablevision in its financing for the acquisition of Newsday (May 2008)
- Goldman, Sachs & Co. in its sale of $5 billion Preferred Shares and warrants to Berkshire Hathaway and its public offering of $5 billion of Common Stock (September 2008)
- Wachovia in connection with its liquidity facilities (December 2008)
