Recently, S&C was recognized by a number of important constituencies for our strong commitment to diversity:

  • S&C was named to MultiCultural Law magazine’s 2008 list of “Top 100 Law Firms for Diversity” and to Women 3.0 magazine’s 2008 list of “Top 100 Law Firms for Women.”magazine’s 2008 list of “Top 100 Law Firms for Diversity” and to Women 3.0 magazine’s 2008 list of “Top 100 Law Firms for Women.”
  • S&C ranked as a top law firm in the 2008 Vault rankings for “The Best 20 Law Firms for Diversity” and “Diversity for Gays and Lesbians” (in addition to the “Top 100 Most Prestigious Law Firms”).
  • S&C was selected as a recipient of the 2007 Stakeholder Law Firm Award in recognition of its work and sustained commitment to the development of its associates. In addition, five S&C associates were chosen by a panel of 15 general counsel and 25 other senior in-house counsel to participate in the Stakeholder 100 program, which identifies the top-performing associates of color from across the U.S. and undertakes to provide them with executive-type career development training and mentoring opportunities.
