Our Tokyo office opened in 1987, promptly after the change in Japanese regulations allowing foreign lawyers to establish offices in Japan. In 1999, we moved to expanded offices in a modern, “intelligent” office tower in order to accommodate our growing staff and meet our technology needs. We are located in the Otemachi/Marunouchi area, steps away from the Tokyo Station and the Imperial Palace grounds. This is the financial center of Tokyo, home to many of Japan’s largest financial institutions and corporations as well as a number of leading foreign firms.
